Bath and Body Works haul!

I have just got back from a whirlwind of a holiday to America. If you follow me on Twitter or Instagram then you might have seen some updates of my travels. Although I won't go into too much detail as I am saving it for one big post of its own!

Despite going to America, the land of Sephora, I didn't really buy anything. I know that sounds shocking but nothing really stood out to me. Plus we didn't actually go shopping much as our days were packed with more touristy things. I did however pop into Sephora and Bath & Body Works! I am going to split this haul into two so expect the Sephora haul soon!

Seeing as I have never stepped foot in a Bath & Body Works, it was safe to say I got very excited. After getting over the glorious smells and beautiful lotions and potions I found my way to the mini hand sanitisers. I kind of went a little crazy. I decided to get 3 holders and 4 hand bac's.

I went for two sensible glitter holders, and then a cute squirrel which is holding an acorn which when pressed lights up! I love these things so much. I have to get on a couple of trains into university so its going to be super handy to have them attached to my bag. The two glitter cases were $3.50 and the squirrel was $7.50 before tax. So almost double, but in my opinion worth it!

These are the scents that I went for. I got two Peach Bellini's, Pretty in Pink and Sweet pea. They are all very different from each other which is kind of what I wanted.

I hope you liked this section of my little haul. I can't get over how amazing Bath & Body works is! I wished they had one over in the UK, although I reckon my bank balance is glad it isn't. Have you visited a store before? Is there anything I should have got or need to add on my list for next time?

Thanks so much for reading!
Lots of love,

Topshop Oxford Street Personal Shopping

http://insideout.topshop.com/2012/12/topshop-personal-shopping
When I was gifted with a Topshop personal shopping experience for Christmas I knew I was in for a treat. Its no secret that Topshop is one of those high street brands that time after time continues to deliver great fashion. They are often the trend setters that every other high street store then follows. I spotted in store last year that you could do the personal shopper and have been set on doing it. My parents very kindly had remembered this and booked for me to do it last Saturday. I had such an amazing day and am already planning to go back in the summer to do it all again.

When you arrive in the personal shopping lounge you are greeted by a lovely lady on the desk where you sign in and then sit in the waiting room area. My parents and I were 10-15 minutes early but we were offered tea and coffee to have while we waited. This is such a nice touch as it really does make it more special. After we were greeted by Katerina who would be my personal shopper. She showed me into my suite where there was rails of pre organised outfits that she had picked up for me. I should note that when my parents had booked the appointment they were asked what I was looking for, my height, skin tone and age as a guide. I then further emailed closer to the appointment different sizes. I was a little worried that I wasn't going to like somebody else choosing the clothes for me, but I actually ended up loving all of the items that it was hard to narrow them down! (I want to note here that not at any point of the experience was I pressured to buy anything!). The lounge itself is amazing! There is so much space to actually look at what you have tried on. The walls had a grid which made it easy to hang the clothes on which we did to narrow down my choices.

I tried on many different outfits that I probably wouldn't have picked up and chosen for myself to wear. Some of these items I then bought. I would recommend the whole experience to anybody. It made me feel so confident and positive in myself, not only because I fit into smaller jeans either! The personal shopping is free to book and you only pay for what you buy. So technically you don't have to leave with anything, but with the way items are put together its pretty hard not too!

I hope you enjoyed this post! I am looking forward to sharing more of my own personal style diary with you all!

Hope you all have a lovely week!
Lots of love,

Shoes!

I love a good shoe.
Who doesn't love a good shoe?

Recently I have bought a few pairs of shoes. Two that I have wanted to share with you today. They are probably the most opposite shoes on the planet but are both equally as comfortable!
I got gifted these shoes as a birthday present from my brother and his girlfriend. When I first saw them I have to be honest I wasn't sure how I would wear them, as for me they are very high! I have worn them around the house and I can't believe just how comfortable they actually are! They have a little bit of a platform at the front so they are not as high as they look. They are also really easy to style which was surprising to me. Paired with some blue skinny jeans and a plain shirt, or with a skirt and tights they look great! With a heel I am always a little skeptical because I don't want to be one of those people who wear them somewhere and then needs to buy another pair of shoes to get through the day. I wore them recently on a lunch meeting and got two compliments which is always a bonus!
They are from River Island, and you can buy them from HERE!!

My second pair of shoes are these more classic looking loafers. I tried these on in store and fell in love with them. I am yet to wear them out because when I got them home they were a little too big for me! A little bit odd when they fit in store so I am having to get some insoles for them (on another note does anybody remember having to get insoles for their school shoes?!?! They were the pain of my life for the whole school year!). They are this gorgeous pale pink colour and have a little shine. I thought they would be the perfect shoe to wear in the in-between season of winter and summer. They come in so many different colours, but I knew that I wanted a classic blush colour. I would recommend trying them on in store before buying them! They are from Schuh and can be found online HERE!!
Something cool that Schuh do are that you can go into store and choose the shoes, if they don't have them in stock but do online then they will order them for you there and then in-store for next day delivery to your house. We have done this a couple of times and have had them before 12pm the following day. Such a fantastic service!

Hope you enjoyed this little post and insight into what I have been wearing lately on my feet!
Have a lovely week!
Love,

Lush Goodies!

Decorative milk bottle from Wilkinson and Faux Flowers from Ikea
On saturday I did my theory test and passed!! So I thought that it would be a good excuse to treat myself to some new lush goodies! I did however get a little bit too into the christmas section and have managed to pick up some of my old favourites and one new little treasure that I am sure I am going to love!
First of all is 'golden wonder'. I have done a blog post purely dedicated to this bomb which can be read here! I have been debating picking this up since I used up my last one from last christmas the other week and finally gave in! I am going to stocking up on this one in the next few weeks so when they take them out of lush I have enough to keep me going!

This one is a bit of a random buy. I believe that this bath bomb called 'Ickle Robot' is aimed at babies but I love it. Whenever I go into lush with the aim to get a good selection of different bath bombs this one is always on my list. There website states that it 'All the essential oils in this ballistic have been selected for being soothing and calming for baby. Not only does this contain sleep-inducing oils, but everything has been selected to be mild, gentle and soothing for skin and any itchy bits.'. This statement is so true as whenever I use it I always feel so relaxed and chilled.

'Cinders' is another one of my christmas favs. The orange pips you can see on the front are popping candy that once touches the water makes the bath fizz and make popping noises. This turns the water a lovely orange colour and makes the whole room smell of champagne. It is great for a little pamper evening! This is another one that I am going to be stocking up on.
Finally this 'Snowman Ballistic' is a new try for me. When I was looking at all the new christmas bits I asked one of the shop assistants which one he would suggest and this was the winner. Apparently it has cocoa butter and natural oils within that make the skin feel so soft and moisturised. I am yet to try this but have a feeling that this is going to be something that I am going to be wanting all year round!
My local lush were doing a weekend event where you can donate a pound and get a small pot of hand and body lotion. I picked this up and although there is a small amount within the tub I think it is going to last a long time. This is also a great size for my bag for uni as my hands always feel so dry and horrible after travelling on a train.

I hope you liked this post and are enjoying my little reviews that I have been doing. I have enjoyed writing them. Let me know what lush products you have been loving and don't forget to leave your blog urls below!
