Feeling Nautical : Style Diary

Good evening!
Hope you have all had a lovely day so far!
It's been so cloudy, rainy and windy as well which makes leaving the house unbearable! I have noticed a little theme within my OOTD's that I look like I am dressed for summer, but honestly my house is SO hot for the majority of the time that I don't need to wear a jacket/cardigan until I leave the house. I have been wanting to wear this shirt for a little while now. I bought it in a Zara sale about 2 years ago and never felt confident enough to wear it as it was a little bit too cropped for my liking. (I have only recently started to wear t-shirt's that didn't cover my bottom when wearing jeans!)

I wore my Zara top with my Topshop ripped Jamie jeans and my Schuh loafers. I got these for my birthday last year and haven't really worn them very much since. I found them in the back of my wardrobe and have fallen in love with them all over again!
I spent some time to do my makeup today. I went a little bit over the top for a casual day staying in. But when else is a better time to experiment with makeup! I used my Smoky palette for the first time and LOVE it. I even did the tape trick when applying my eyeshadow which has changed my life!

Hope you have a lovely rest of your day!
Lots of love,

Casual plaid fashion : Style Diary

Good afternoon! Hope you are all well and have had a lovely day so far!
Does anything shout more casual than this outfit?

Sometimes the most easy outfit's are ones that you can just throw on a plaid shirt with! I absolutely love this shirt, it is made out of a soft cotton which feels so comfortable on! I also really love this necklace from Primark that I have been wearing a lot recently.

The return: Style Diary

I have really enjoyed these daily OOTD's but honestly it has been great having a little break over the last couple of days! But I am back with another university friendly outfit, perfect for long boring lectures! Plus I absolutely love this long sleeved top in the current windy uk weather!

Hope you have a lovely rest of your week!

Cropped Plaid : Style Diary

Another day, another Topshop outfit! I am loving this cropped plaid shirt. A couple of months ago I would never have imagined that I would have chosen something like this for myself. I have never been that confident, but am loving the challenge of styling up a different outfit and making more of an effort to look nice. It makes you feel good too!

This is my bargain £1.50 necklace I got at Primark yesterday! I love it so much. I have a thing for rose gold!

Have a lovely weekend!

Simple A-Line Dress: Style Diary

I love finding simple outfits that I can adjust and mix and match to wear with anything in my wardrobe. This topshop one is just that. Yesterday was a little bit of a busy day for me. I had a full day of university followed by going up to London in the evening to see The Lion King. I didn't have time to come home in between so decided to wear this dress with my BooHoo fluffy body warmer.

I believe this dress is new from Topshop. It's a simple A-Line design which is really flattering and comfortable to wear. I also really love this grey marl fabric! I wore it with my Primark tights. Finally on my feet I wore my Debenhams boots which I have also been loving recently!

If you haven't seen The Lion King then you really need to. I loved it and already want to go and see it again!

I saw this on the way home from the theatre and it reminded me of the beauty that is London at night!

Hope you have a lovely evening!
Lots of Love,

Mustard top : Style Diary

Today marks a month till my 21st Birthday! Ahh!
Another day another skinny ripped jean OOTD. I am sorry ok! But I just love these jeans so much! They are super comfortable. Anyway today was another day spent exchanging and swapping clothes in Topshop. I bought a couple of bits when I went for the personal shopper experience that I needed to return as sadly they were broken, but what an excuse to shop!

My outfit today is yet again all topshop!
I wore my ripped Jamie Jeans with this mustard yellow alpha t-shirt. I can't explain how soft this top is! I also love how it looks paired with the dark wash jeans. On my feet I wore my classic brown Doc Martens that I wear almost every single day!

I attempted to curl my hair today as well, which for once actually stayed in! I usually have issues with it as the curls never seem to hold due to my length.

My dad and I also popped into Costco for a wander and got drawn into the food aisle where I found this amazing looking chocolate cake! I 100% want this for my birthday! Look at all of those amazing chocolate layers! I want to eat it! We also found this funny art of tidying book. It's ironic because I hate to tidy!

My mum cooked this amazing cake which we ate in honour of my grandma's birthday! Yay!
Have a lovely rest of your day!
Lots of love,

Tartan and Stripes : Style Diary

Todays outfit expresses the epitome of casual.
A slouchy knit jumper with a voile trim, paired with my favourite ripped jeans and soft scarf makes for the best uni look! I don't know if it has something to do with the colder weather, but I love being able to dress up in warm winter jumpers and boots without worrying about being too hot!

My striped jumper is an oldie from Hollister that I picked up in the Braintree outlet store. What a lifesaver that shop is! You can pick up some great bargains. My jeans are Topshop Jamie jeans with rips. I paired the outfit with my Cashmink scarf from House of Fraser and love how comfortable and soft it is. The best £5 spent in the black Friday sale! Finally I paired the outfit with my classic Zara tote bag. This bag is perfect for uni as it fits all of my sewing materials as well as my other bits and bobs. Plus it is super easy to just throw things into it!

I put my hair into a side fishtail braid. One of the most easy plaits to do which looks like lots of effort has been made!

This is what I spent most of my day staring at today! Although I wouldn't change it for the world!

After getting in from my water aerobics class my mum told me to pop upstairs and look in the bathroom. She had very cutely put out my pyjamas and dressing gown on the towel warmer so they were lovely and toasty for when I put them on. She is super duper cute! (Pyjama Set- Victoria Secret, Dressing Gown- Victoria Secret)

Hope you have a lovely rest of your day!
Let me know what you have got up to!

Lots of love,
