Lifestyle | Have I lost my passion for blogging?

Well well well, look who's back after another long break. With fear of sounding repetitive, life just got in the way. There has been so many changes since I last had the time to properly sit down and write but it's so good to be back.

It's nearing the end of august now, which makes it 5 months since I last posted something to my little corner of the internet. Not going to lie to you I had thought about giving up and deleting completely, but I am so pleased I didn't.

Some of you may know this already but I had quite a tough start to 2019 which in return made me lost interest in doing many things that I once found happiness in, blogging included. In January my gorgeous cat Luna went missing and it completely turned my world upside down. We got Alice and Luna in October 2017 to complete our family, as well as a way to help me with my anxiety and depression (which in many ways it did). What we didn't realise was how attached I would become to such a small animal. The day she went missing started the beginning of a spiral that to this day is very far from stopping. As pathetic as it sounds, a small part of me went that day and I have felt very empty ever since. I still, 8 months on, can't think about her without tearing up and it's taken a long time to actually talk about her.

With that all being said I now feel like I am back in a position that I want to be writing again, and can't wait to share my thoughts in my little safe space. Over the last couple of months I've also been doing up the very shed in the below images to turn it into my little office so hopefully I can get back into a little routine that is well needed in my life. I will share the full shed update shortly, but I am very excited to get it finished - it's very far from the blue it appears below!

Just a short post from me today with hopes to get back into the swing of things. Thanks so much for the tweets and DMs asking if I'm ok. I'm getting there and thanks for sticking with me!

Have a lovely day!
