Happy Christmas - Blogmas day 25!

Happy Christmas!
The day that we have all been counting down to is finally here! I have had so many mixed feelings this year about Christmas that I still can't quite believe that its here!

Although Christmas is a fun and exciting time of year it is also super stressful. We try to make everything perfect while missing out on the things that truly matter. Family.

Last night my family and I went to a local church in town to attend their Christingle service. This was quite a special occasion for us as this is the first time we have been to a proper service, (our church does services but are more for the children than the adults), in years so it was really lovely and special. I also took the moment to have a slow walk through the town to look at all of the Christmas lights. There is something cute about sparkling lights! I thought I would include some of these images in this post and have another post full of Christmas day pictures later on!

My Failed attempt of a gingerbread house! Next year I am going to be buying a set rather than waste lots of time making it!

Hope you all have a lovely Christmas spent with the ones who mean the most to you!
Lots of love,

Christmas eve traditions- Blogmas day 24

 Happy Christmas Eve!
It's literally tomorrow! It comes around quicker each year I swear!

Over the past couple of years Christmas has certainly felt a little bit different. Now I am older traditions that my parents would do with us has changed slightly, so we have been discovering new ways to do things which make the season exciting. Our new tradition is unwrapping new Pyjamas on Christmas eve to sleep in. Last year I got some lovely ones from Boux Avenue for my mum and I. This year I went to the new Victoria Secret store and took advantage of their 50% off PJ sets. Both of the sets were £23.00 which is a great price when considering one pair alone is £46. I know my mum's going to love it! I bought a pair with a christmassy print for my mum, and then a classic pink and white stripe for myself to wear.

I hope you liked this blogpost!
Have a lovely Christmas day spent with your loved ones.

Lots of love,

Christmas day OOTD- Blogmas day 23

Good afternoon!
I can't believe how close we are to Christmas! In the words of the Grinch, 'It's practically here!, and I couldn't be more excited! I have been out shopping lots recently trying to pick up some last minute gifts. I have also been on the hunt for a pair of sparkly tights that I can wear on Christmas day. You know when you have an outfit planned in your mind but can't find all the individual components to make up the look? yeah that happened. But I finally found them! This whole outfit came under £25 as well which is perfect! Let me know what you think of this look!

So these are the tights that I got from H&M for £7.99. I have literally been in the hunt for these for a couple of weeks now! I found these last week but then every H&M I went into they didn't have them in my size! So frustrating! But eventually I found them and I can't wait to wear them.

I have had my eye on this playsuit in Topshop for a couple of years now. They had a similar one last year in Black and Burgundy. I was never brave enough to invest £48 for one garment but after spotting this in the sale for £10 I knew I had to try it on. There was something different about this. I wouldn't have usually chosen such a daring colour, or even such a plunging neckline BUT it made me feel really special so I knew I had to get it! The back has a lovely lace design which is extremely flattering. The Lime colour also looks nice against my pale skin tone.

Finally I needed a plain black cardigan to finish off the outfit. I got this from primark for £8 and is a plain cardi with a scalloped edge. Its super soft and for primark is great quality!

I hope you enjoyed this blogpost!
I know that this outfit is a little different, but I am trying to go out of my comfort zone a little bit when it comes to putting together different outfits!

Let me know what you think!

Lots of love,

Festive nail designs -Blogmas day 22

Whenever it comes around to this time of year I always get asked by my mum to paint her nails with a special design so the children in her class have something fun to look at in their last week at school before christmas. Here are a couple of the designs that I did for her to choose from, I thought you might be interested in having a look at them too! They are all quick and simple to do with the right colour varnishes. My favourite has to be the Frozen themed snowflakes, but I also love the simple candy cane design too. Let me know which one is your favourite!

Have a lovely Christmas!

Lots of Love,
