The Christmas Tag 2015 - Blogmas day 12

Well I couldn't go a blogmas without doing a christmas tag right? I spotted this one floating around in the blogger-sphere recently so thought it would be fun to do! Feel free to answer the questions yourself in the comments below! I would love to see what your answers would be! Enjoy! 

1. What is your favourite Christmas film?

I recently did a whole blogpost about my favourite Christmas films (you can read that HERE), and came to the conclusion that although I love the new favourites of Arthur Christmas, the old classic The Grinch is the best! 

2. Do you open your presents on Christmas Eve or Christmas morning?

I didn't even know that it was a thing to open presents on Christmas Eve! It was certainly something we have never done in my house, each to their own I guess! We open them on Christmas morning, altogether in the front room where the presents are left. Nobody is allowed into that room until everybody is ready! 

3. Do you like to stay in your PJs on Christmas Day or dress up?

I usually stay in my PJs until we have all opened presents and stuff. Then I like to get dressed up a little bit to make that little effort! Usually we go out for Boxing day meal so I properly dress up! 

4. If you could only buy one person a present this year, who would it be?

I think the generic answer for this would be for my Mummy! She has been a rock for me this year and I love her so much. I would probably buy her a necklace or piece of jewellery with a star on it. We have a little saying that we always say to each other before bed 'Love you all the stars'. It's quite touching for me. 

5. Have you ever built a gingerbread house?

My brother and I started this tradition a couple of years ago where we would bake a gingerbread house, well our version of one anyway, and decorate it to look nice on our table for Christmas day! So much harder than it looks though! 

6. What do you like to do on your Christmas break?

On breaks from uni I tend to catch up on lots of sleep, shopping, movies, friends and then finally all that uni work I should have done throughout the year. I just love spending the time with my Dad being off work today. He works so hard that during the weeks we barely see him. So I love it when the family can spend QT time together! 

7. Any Christmas wishes?

Just that everybody can be together and to get along! Christmas can be quite a stressful time with the effort of trying to make everything perfect that sometimes you can forget the reason for the season! 

8. Favourite Christmas food?

Pigs.In.Blankets

9. Candy cane or gingerbread man?

Candy canes aren't really a thing here in the UK. I mean we HAVE them, but I guess they aren't as popular as in the US. I love gingerbread men anyway! Has anyone tried the Costa Gingerbread Latte?!?! AMAZING!! 

10. What is at the top of your Christmas list?

As funny as it sounds, I have asked for a Sat Nav. I have a car and have been driving for nearly 3 years now but I lack confidence in driving to new places. Hopefully without the fear of getting lost I can get out there more!
