Lush galore!

This is a bit of a belated post. I have had this Lush box full of gorgeous products smelling up the side of my bathroom since christmas day. I have kept on meaning to write about it but haven't had the time, until now so unfortunately you can't buy these items as they are a seasonal product!

This box is full of every single christmas product that I absolutely LOVE so couldn't be happier receiving it. The box itself with bells on the side is a little gift in itself and stores the products nicely on the side.

Christmas Hedgehog
Golden Wonder
The comforter
Luxury Lush Pud
Drummers Drumming
Magic Wand

I literally can't wait to try out all of these products now! I am such a bath lover, I spend at least an hour in the bath a night! Let me know in the comments what your favourite lush products are, and what I need to try out!

Thanks for reading have a lovely week!

Viva Glam Miley Cyrus lipglass

I am guilty to being a horder of lip products. From balm to stain I literally have it all. In my defence most of them are drugstore products so are more affordable for a mere student like me. When I heard about the collab Miley Cyrus was doing with MAC I was a little skeptical. I have in the past purchased products from both the Nicki Minaj and Rihanna lines and been a little bit disappointed with them, as in my opinion they are a little bit harder to wear everyday. I decided to have a little look on the MAC website to see what all the commotion was about. I fell in love with the lipglass. I have never purchased a lipgloss from MAC before so can't comment from experience, but the smell, texture and lasting time of this product is absolutely amazing. It also looks lovely ontop of other lipsticks to create more of a shine. I am so glad I picked it up! When checking out 'Angel' appeared in my basket accidentally so I ended up buying that as well! I thought if I was having to spend money on postage I might as well make it worth the while!

I really recommend you checking out the Viva Glam Miley range while you can! I have a feeling they will be sold out soon, if not already!

In other MAC news I completely missed the online release of the Cinderella collab! I had a little live chat with one of the lovely ladies from MAC and was told that they are going to be releasing in-store on the 16th March so I am hoping to pick up the eyeshadow palette then!

Have a lovely week!

Naked Urban Decay- ON THE RUN

After first since seeing the Naked on the run palette in my local Debenhams, I knew it was the palette for me. I am sucker for a great neutrals palette and thought that the whole concept of this was amazing. Basically everything you would need for touchups, day to nights or generally to do your whole face of makeup, (minus foundation obvs) can be found in this palette. It comes in the most stunning packaging and rose gold detailing. Now who doesn't love a little bit of rose gold? I was given this palette for my birthday and although I have been in love with it ever since! It does say on their website that it is limited edition, so you might want to get this quickly!
So the palette comes with 6 all new shades of eyeshadow with an extra dosage of 50/50 on the end for good measure. It also comes with a bronzer and blush, the popular perversion mascara, 24/7 eyeliner pencil in stag and a full sized naked lipgloss.
Just look at that packaging!

All of the eyeshadows are just like their other palettes. They are so creamy and blend into each other really nicely. The colours also go together perfectly which makes this palette a big contender in the ever going self conflict I have with which to bring on holiday. Sorry Naked 2 and 3 but this one might just win!
Overall this palette is the complete package for me. From the design on the box to the quality of each shadow. You can really tell that thought has been put into this box to make sure that there is a shade for every look. I really love the fact they have included a full size naked lipgloss as not only does it feel comfortable on, but it finishes off the look with no need to think of what lippy to use!

If you have tried this palette let me know below!
Have a lovely week!

A look into my project life!

I have seen so many posts now about people who have started doing the project life. In January I also decided to jump into the world of project life and to try and document at least one thing a month so I can look back and reflect in December. If I am being completely honest, although the whole concept is idiot proof and so easy to do. It still takes time to sit down and collate bits together. I have been adding to my folder every once in a while. Whenever I am out and about I tend to see if there is anything that I think will look nice. One of the problems with project life is that in the UK they don't tend to stock a lot of project life products. Although any scrapbooking/wrapping paper and bits all work as well. I went to my local craft village and to my shock spotted a whole shelf of project life.. I was beyond excited! So I picked up a few bits and bobs that will last me a little while.
This is a large sheet of paper that I can cut up the little sections to include in each wallet.
I bought these cards separately. I don't think that they are for project lie particularly but I can cut them down to size. They have two sides of designs so its perfect.
This was my first pack from project life that I have purchased. It is the 40 cards Golden collection with foil on each card. I just love a bit of shine!
Some random bits that I got were sticky letters and wording and then some foam pads. I feel like this are just generally helpful when doing a scrapbook, but also as I make cards I can use them then.

I havent shared my folder since I began doing it. Here is a couple of pages that I have put together.
My trip to Christopher Raeburns LCM show.
Seeing CATS the Musical.

When I am putting together a page I tend to start with collecting all of the bits and then just checking that they fit/look nice.
I don't always use the pre made pieces of paper.
polaroids are perfect for scrapbooking as you don't have to print or cut the images!
Here is the finished page for my 20th birthday. I have a couple of other bits that I want to include on other pages so I might have a double page for my birthday!

Hope you liked reading this little insight to my scrapbook!
Have a lovely week!
