Beauty | PIXI - Hero Products!

My love for PIXI products has grown so much in the last year. From only using one or two products as and when I found them, I now use three product religiously and more when the occasion suits. Recently I was lucky to have received another gorgeous PIXI package in the post and I can't wait to fall in love with more products.

Endless Silky Eye Pen in Black Cocoa
I own a variety of these eye pens now in various colours. I love how easy they are to apply and how effortlessly they slide onto the eye. For a complete eye liner novice like myself, they truly are the perfect product to use. The shade Black Cocoa is a gorgeous black/brown colour which for me personally is a lot more flattering to use than black!

Lip Lift Max in Peony Bloom
This product is a lip plumper with a tint. The first thing to note is how gorgeous the product itself looks. One thing that Pixi always does well is the matching packaging. I love how all my PIXI products look when together and this product is no different. It smells fresh and minty, and applies smoothly onto the lips with one swipe. The plumping affect starts to work after 30 seconds roughly and plumps the lips up whilst still looking fresh and pretty.

Beauty Blush Duo and Kabuki in Peach Honey
I LOVE a highlight and am always switching/mixing mine up in my everyday makeup routine. This duo is a blush/highlight combo that work gorgeously together or on their own. These products have come at such a great time with the holiday season on the horizon. The highlight looks really pretty on the skin and, unlike other highlighters I own, looks natural. The kabuki brush is also very well made and applies the products to the skin. I don't tend to use brushes that come with products, but I already know this will be used a lot on the go!

Pixi Glow Tonic
When you think of classic PIXI products, then this glow tonic has to come out on top. It's also ironically been the one product I have always wanted to try but never got around to. I'm planning on doing a full review on this product, but my first impressions are really positive! I find it leaves my face feeling smooth and refreshed.

Rose Oil Blend
This is a powerful youth preservative which protects, nourishes and strengthens the skin. I've been looking for a product like this to come into my life and I am really hoping it makes a huge difference to my skincare routine. You use this product by applying 2 - 3 drops onto cleansed, toned skin. To add extra hydration and glow you can add a couple of drops to moisturiser before applying.

Hydrating Milky Mist
This product is probably the most interesting to me out of the lot. You can apply this product in three different ways. Before makeup as a prep and prime product. Nighttime to add a layer of moisturisation to the skin, and anytime to give a burst of hydration.

Overall, I am really excited to try out all of the exciting new and classic PIXI products I received! Out of everything, I can't wait to see how the Milky Mist and highlighter palette works with my skin! Although, I am sure you will see many of these products appear every now and then amongst my posts!

Until next time,

Lifestyle: A little catch up...

Hey, remember me? It's been a hot minute since I last wrote anything for my blog and I for one have really missed it. Life has just been crazy recently and as much as I have wanted to sit down and write, every time I tried something else would come up that took priority. My little unplanned blogging break did come at a good time though.

Over the last couple of months since my last post I have decided that I really want to take my blog in a different direction. I love blogging about fashion and beauty, but I would love to bring something of more worth to this blog. (Fashion and Beauty is still a topic that is going to be a regular feature, but every now and then expect to see an opinion/view/thought post going up!).

So what have I actually been up to I hear you say? The answer to that question - work! Since graduating last July I have been trying my best to get the most work experience I can in the hopes to secure a full time job in the career I want to enter. In reality this sounds a lot easier than it actually is, but in February I managed to secure a 6 month placement at a company I have grown up loving. 3 month's in and although not every day has been plain sailing, I am really enjoying it and hope to continue learning by the time I'm ready to move on in October.

With work comes play right? May brought it's own array of challenges for me which to the average person is NBD, but to me was a gigantic step. If you were to ask me where my favourite place in the whole wide world was, I would 100% hand on my heart say Disneyland Paris. So when my brother Daniel, Emma (his girlfriend) and I booked a trip I was both anxious and excited in equal measures. At 23 years old, I have never been in the position to go abroad on my own. Mainly because my anxiety and nerves prevented me from feeling 'safe' and settled when away from my parents. There were many moments on the trip that I considered getting a train ride home, but I did it. And I am SO proud of myself for achieving it. (You best believe the Disneyland Paris blogposts are coming!)

That brings us up to now, June. We're 24 days in and life has gone back to a more relaxed state. Work is still busy, but I am finding it easier to manage with everyday life again. I've also managed to get back into reading again which was something I knew I wanted to keep up after falling back in love with the Eleanor Oliphiant book!

Now that we're all caught up, I can get back into my regular posting!

Until next time,
