White and Grey : Summer Style OOTD

Summer doesn't only have to be for bright florals and prints. Sometimes the most discreet designs and colours can make for a cool summer look. I went to the New Look sale a couple of weeks and found this little grey top wonder. I have never really owned a top before that was high neck as the shoulders are an area of my body that I am not that confident in showing off, but I loved the frilly design on the armholes. I also really like the speckled grey design on the top and the versatility of being able to wear this with jeans and denim shorts too. I managed to get this in the New Look sale for £7 which I am really happy with!

I had also been looking for a pair of sunglasses that I can wear when driving or just general everyday use. I have a pair of Ray Ban Wayfarers in black which I wear all of the time, however I wanted a pair that I could wear as more of a fashion statement. I spotted these in Forever 21 for £2! I thought they were cute and interesting as well as very affordable!

To finish off my look I wore my favourite lipstick at the moment Kiko cosmetics, 319 smart lipstick.

Thanks for taking the time to read this blogpost!
Let me know whether you agree with my theory of greys for summer too!

Ripped Jeans and plaits : Style Diary!

Good afternoon!
I am loving this outfit look again today. I love every single item that I am wearing so much.
I am basically wearing head to toe Topshop again, except for my gorgeous pale pink loafers from Schuh. They are super comfortable and I have been loving them for a while! I tried to do something a little bit different with my hair today as well. I have been experimenting with wearing the dutch braid, but found it hard to do! After about 20 try's I finally managed to get one looking nice in my hair! I also experimented a little with my urban decay makeup palette too.

Hope you enjoyed this post!
Have a lovely rest of your day!

Feeling Nautical : Style Diary

Good evening!
Hope you have all had a lovely day so far!
It's been so cloudy, rainy and windy as well which makes leaving the house unbearable! I have noticed a little theme within my OOTD's that I look like I am dressed for summer, but honestly my house is SO hot for the majority of the time that I don't need to wear a jacket/cardigan until I leave the house. I have been wanting to wear this shirt for a little while now. I bought it in a Zara sale about 2 years ago and never felt confident enough to wear it as it was a little bit too cropped for my liking. (I have only recently started to wear t-shirt's that didn't cover my bottom when wearing jeans!)

I wore my Zara top with my Topshop ripped Jamie jeans and my Schuh loafers. I got these for my birthday last year and haven't really worn them very much since. I found them in the back of my wardrobe and have fallen in love with them all over again!
I spent some time to do my makeup today. I went a little bit over the top for a casual day staying in. But when else is a better time to experiment with makeup! I used my Smoky palette for the first time and LOVE it. I even did the tape trick when applying my eyeshadow which has changed my life!

Hope you have a lovely rest of your day!

Casual plaid fashion : Style Diary

Good afternoon! Hope you are all well and have had a lovely day so far!
Does anything shout more casual than this outfit?

Sometimes the most easy outfit's are ones that you can just throw on a plaid shirt with! I absolutely love this shirt, it is made out of a soft cotton which feels so comfortable on! I also really love this necklace from Primark that I have been wearing a lot recently.

Feeling stripes : Style Diary

Its finally Friday, and I certainly am having that Friday feeling right now! Today was another long day at uni, but for once it wasn't too bad! The closer we get to the end of term the more work I have to do, so it can get quite stressful!

Today I decided I wanted to try and dress up a little bit as I get bored of wearing jeans every day sometimes. I went for this casual leather skirt with tights and cropped striped top look. I wore my big warm coat over the top. On my feet I wore my brown Doc Martens! This is probably one of my favourite looks I have worn so far!

Top- Marks and Spencer's
Skirt- H&M
Tights- Primark
Necklace- Primark

Today was also the day that Kylie Jenner released her latest range of lipsticks from her collection. I had literally been online all day trying to get a couple of lipsticks from the range for myself and my brother's girlfriend. So I can't wait to get them! By the looks of it I am really lucky as it's all now sold out! Expect a review/unboxing when they come!

Anyway, hope you have a lovely rest of your evening!

Lots of love,

Simple A-Line Dress: Style Diary

I love finding simple outfits that I can adjust and mix and match to wear with anything in my wardrobe. This topshop one is just that. Yesterday was a little bit of a busy day for me. I had a full day of university followed by going up to London in the evening to see The Lion King. I didn't have time to come home in between so decided to wear this dress with my BooHoo fluffy body warmer.

I believe this dress is new from Topshop. It's a simple A-Line design which is really flattering and comfortable to wear. I also really love this grey marl fabric! I wore it with my Primark tights. Finally on my feet I wore my Debenhams boots which I have also been loving recently!

If you haven't seen The Lion King then you really need to. I loved it and already want to go and see it again!

I saw this on the way home from the theatre and it reminded me of the beauty that is London at night!

Hope you have a lovely evening!

My Bargain Dress : Style Diary

I love a bargain shop! Recently I visited my local Marks and Spencer's to have a little snoop into the final bits of their post Christmas sales. I had done so well to avoid sales over the festive period, but I couldn't pass up this dress! It was reduced from £45 to £16 and I just love how cute it is!

I will be honest though, when I tried it on I was gutted that I wasn't able to return it for a refund. Being a smaller human being, I sometimes struggle with length so it was annoying when the dress looked frumpy and was halfway down my leg. Not my style in the slightest! So I decided I would add a plain black belt from New Look to bring the dress in and make it work for me.

I love how the dress looks now and I have fallen in love with it!

This was the aftermath of my Lush Frozen bath bomb. I love it when this happens to the bath! Although this is much easier to clean up than the Golden Wonder bath bomb!
Hope you have a lovely rest of your day!
Lots of love,
