Topshop Oxford Street Personal Shopping

http://insideout.topshop.com/2012/12/topshop-personal-shopping
When I was gifted with a Topshop personal shopping experience for Christmas I knew I was in for a treat. Its no secret that Topshop is one of those high street brands that time after time continues to deliver great fashion. They are often the trend setters that every other high street store then follows. I spotted in store last year that you could do the personal shopper and have been set on doing it. My parents very kindly had remembered this and booked for me to do it last Saturday. I had such an amazing day and am already planning to go back in the summer to do it all again.

When you arrive in the personal shopping lounge you are greeted by a lovely lady on the desk where you sign in and then sit in the waiting room area. My parents and I were 10-15 minutes early but we were offered tea and coffee to have while we waited. This is such a nice touch as it really does make it more special. After we were greeted by Katerina who would be my personal shopper. She showed me into my suite where there was rails of pre organised outfits that she had picked up for me. I should note that when my parents had booked the appointment they were asked what I was looking for, my height, skin tone and age as a guide. I then further emailed closer to the appointment different sizes. I was a little worried that I wasn't going to like somebody else choosing the clothes for me, but I actually ended up loving all of the items that it was hard to narrow them down! (I want to note here that not at any point of the experience was I pressured to buy anything!). The lounge itself is amazing! There is so much space to actually look at what you have tried on. The walls had a grid which made it easy to hang the clothes on which we did to narrow down my choices.

I tried on many different outfits that I probably wouldn't have picked up and chosen for myself to wear. Some of these items I then bought. I would recommend the whole experience to anybody. It made me feel so confident and positive in myself, not only because I fit into smaller jeans either! The personal shopping is free to book and you only pay for what you buy. So technically you don't have to leave with anything, but with the way items are put together its pretty hard not too!

I hope you enjoyed this post! I am looking forward to sharing more of my own personal style diary with you all!

Hope you all have a lovely week!
Lots of love,
