Blogmas day 17!

The other day I posted a little DIY idea I found including nail varnishes. I have now been searching on pinterest for HOURS and have found some other DIY ideas!
I saw something similar on Ingrid (Miss Glamourazzi's) Channel over on youtube. So check that out to get a better idea of how to make this!

All of these ideas would be pretty easy to make as long as you have the supplies and the time. The final Elf quote is something that is perfect for a christmas decoration as it is a piece of art as well as being extra Christmassy!

Which ones your favourite?

Blogmas day 16!

Over the weekend my mum wanted me to do her nails for her christmas party at work. So of course being the loving daughter agreed to this. I decided to go with a theme that I did the other monday which you can read here X

I was also excited to try out one of the water decals. If you would like to see a tutorial or review on these let me know as they are quite complicated to explain in full without showing you the process! I went for the middle finger as the image finger purely because I didn't want the stripes of the candy cane to be too over the top.

I really enjoyed doing this design and can't wait to use more of these water decals! To create the straight red lines I used a red striper from La Colours. I also used a silver striper from La Colours also. I used a white collection 2000 varnish and my Kate Spade limited edition Nails inc polish. I then sealed my design with a La colours quick dry topcoat.

Let me know what you think and leave your urls below for me to check out!

Blogmas day 15!

I have been trying to come up with some little festive ideas for christmas presents for people and came across this idea on pinterest.

I thought that this would be such a cute little stocking idea. It is so easy to put together and you can glam it up as much as you would like. I am going to make this for my auntie. You could even add in a little nail file and cotton wall buds and nail varnish remover. Neutral colours are always a good way to go in terms of colour, as you don't want to buy a colour for one particular season! (Somebodys' favourite colour is also a way to go!)

Let me know what you think of this idea and whether you are going to do it?

Blogmas day 14!

In true grinch fashion... 11 DAYS TILL CHRISTMAS! This year I have seemed to find my love for christmas all over again. Who am I kidding I have loved christmas every year, although I did used to hate the idea of someone coming into the house in the middle of the night and when you think about it it is a weird concept! I have seen so many different people doing various countdowns and Blogmas posts. I love how everybody has embraced the task of posting daily and I for one will appreciate people who post on a more than weekly basis more now!
For todays post I thought I would do my own little countdown of the 11 things that I am looking forward to from now till christmas eve! Hope you are all well and as always post your blog urls in the comments for me to check out!

Blogmas day 13!

I know I have started most posts with 'I can't believe that it is day 'blah blah' already' BUT I really can not believe it! I must admit though that I completely underestimated the effort that goes into posting each day. I am struggling and it is only day 13! Today I finished University for this year so hopefully I am going to have more time to work on proper posts.

In todays post I thought I would share some of my favourite christmas songs! I am sure some of them you will recognise. Hope you have a lovely day!

Let it snow!

White Christmas!

Santa Claus is coming to town

FairyTale of New York!
wish you a merry christmas!

What are some of your favourite christmas songs?

A little something extra..

Bonjour!
Hope you are all enjoying my Blogmas posts, I have had fun writing them although I didn't realise how much of a task it would be! I just wanted to let you know that recently I did a little q and a with Robin over at http://bootsandcookies.blogspot.co.uk and I just wanted to share it with you.

Do make sure you check out her blog whilst your there as she is also doing the blogmas series and in my opinion doing a fantastic job at it!

Happy Christmas!

Blogmas day 12!

For this post I have decided to share with you my christmas wish list. I have done a few posts previously about what to buy others and after speaking to some family members asking me what I wanted for christmas it got me thinking about what I actually needed.

1. Beat Headphones
These have been on the top of my list for a little while now as my headphones only work in one ear which makes the travel in and out of uni quite a struggle. Hopefully these will make me look a little bit cooler as well (fingers crossed!).

2. Real Technique makeup brushes
After seeing many bloggers reviewing these brushes I decided that I would quite like to own some of my own. To be honest I rarely use different brushes and stick to my regular ones that I know work well but have heard nothing but good things about all of these brushes.

3. Marc Jacobs Perfume
Ever since I went on holiday to Lake Garda in the summer I have wanted to own this perfume as it smells so fresh and grown up. I don't own a really nice perfume so this would be a really nice treat to have!

4. Rio nail art kit
These nail kit pens are something that I owned a couple of years ago and loved the way that I could use these pens to create the designs on the nails. There are so many different kits that you can get from pastel colours to neons or classic to sparkly.

5. Doc Marten chelsea boots
As an obsessive of Doc Marten boots these are something that look so different. They look so casual yet smart and I think I would be able to wear these all the time to uni. They are rather expensive so I reckon I may have to save up for these for a while!
