Lifestyle : January Favourites

So this post is a little bit late and should have been up last weekend....BUT alas, here are my January favourites! This month has been so busy with lots of university deadlines and the post Christmas blues, but I have also tried out lots of new things that I have enjoyed using. I hope to continue using lots of these throughout the next couple of months as well.

Little Mix Glory Days
So this CD has been on repeat for the past month. I was given a pair of tickets to their tour in October for Christmas so thought it would be good to learn some of the songs, but I never expected to love the album as much as I have. There's nothing quite like a good old pop ballad in my opinion. A couple of my favourites are Touch, Shout Out To My Ex and F.U.! If you haven't already heard the album in full, then please add it to your playlist, it will not disappoint! (Plus I am a big sucker of the pink and purple packaging)

Real Techniques Eye Brush Kit
This month I have also been really enjoying using the Real Technique brushes that I received for Christmas in the Mega Set. (Check out my post on them all here) As much as I wanted to include every single brush, the eye brush set stood out especially for me. I have always experimented with wearing eye makeup, and although I have not quite perfected the best application just yet, these brushes have definitely helped me learn. I have been using my Tartelette Tease palette with these brushes and just love how the shadows apply effortless onto my eyes. If you can get your hands on these then you will not regret it!

Paperchase Unicorn Handwarmers
So with the cold weather well and truly arriving in the UK, these little hand warmers have become my best friend. Accompanying me on the cold walk to the station for my train into uni, as well as just using when feeling cold in my bed, these little things have become an absolute life saver. They also give me major flashbacks to my childhood. I remember one Christmas my dad bought me and my cousins a version of this as a little funny gift and I loved setting them off, and then boiling them up again to start all over.

Victoria Secret Tease Perfume
Ok, so this one isn't exactly a new discovery, but it is one that I have been using constantly throughout this month. You know when you find a scent that is 'your smell'? Well I have found it in this perfume. Last Christmas, my brothers girlfriend Emma bought me a set of mini versions of the popular VS perfumes and this was the one that I loved the most. I was lucky to receive this bigger version for Christmas this year and haven't looked back since, although I am using it very sparingly!

Lush Snow Fairy
I mean it couldn't be a January favourite without a mention of this little Lush goodie! I was so lucky this year and managed to get into the Lush store on Boxing Day where I got this and lots of other Christmas bits on half price! (Check out that haul here!) If you haven't tried this shower gel before then unfortunately you will have to wait until next Christmas as it is limited edition. But, it smells of candy floss and everything else thats sweet and scrumptious! It also leaves your skin feeling super smooth and a little bit glittery! Everything you want and more in a shower gel right!?

Topshop 'Killer' Boots
I am well aware that these boots are a little bit Marmite. If it was a choice between a new dress or shoes, I would pick shoes every single time. Even more so if the option was a dress or boots! I saw these in Selfridges when I was recently in Oxford Street and fell in love with them. I just love how different they are. I have worn them out with my ripped jeans and felt that I was dressed up, yet casual which is always a bonus. As I said, they are very much a Marmite boot, your either going to love them or hate them. I love them, so am so pleased to have added them to my shoe collection!

Anyway, that's everything I have really been loving throughout January. I could have added so much more to the list but wanted to keep this short and sweet! I also realised how random everything is! Let me know what you have been loving throughout January! If you have done a January favourite please link it below, I would love to read it!

Until next time,

Please follow me on Twitter and Instagram. I am working really hard on improving my social media sites and am putting a lot of effort into them. I follow back to return the love!
