Eyelashes by Invogue*

It's safe to say that I am not your typical Essex girl. This has come with many challenges, especially when growing up as I was always the odd one out. I was pale and was not wanting to experiment with fake tan! I also am not a party animal in any sense of the word. The whole idea of going out clubbing causes me great anxiety so I alway's steered clear of night outs. (The Sugarhut isn't all its cracked up to be guys though, I promise!)

When I was contacted to try some false lashes I admit I felt a little uncomfortable. I have never applied fake lashes before so felt a little intimidated at the idea. But I thought, who better to give a pair of lashes a go than a beginner right? And I was surprised!

So these are 'eyelashes by Invogue' and they retail at £3.49 at Asda. They state to be light as a feather, comfortable to wear and reusable. The lashes I received were #07 glamourise. They are to give thick, fuller voluptuous lashes. Very big claims, so did they live up to them?

Application
Although I don't have anything to really compare the application of the lashes too, I felt they applied really easy. The band bends nicely which makes them even easier! Glue comes in the box as well which is handy for a newbie like me! I'm sure this is a user fault rather than the lashes, but I did find it a little difficult to place them on my lash line to check for size. Although I know this is something that will become easier if I use them more regularly.

Before
After
Wear
Once I managed to get the lashes on, I could tell already how light they are. I now know why people love wearing them. It didn't feel like I had anything on at all! In fact as the day wore on I forgot that I was wearing falsies. It was my glasses that kept reminding me that I was! As a glasses wearer I know I wouldn't be able to wear false lashes everyday, but these did feel comfortable enough to wear them with on occasions I wanted to wear lashes but also couldn't be bothered for lenses. I love how these looked with a natural eye, and would be more than interested in trying heavy lashes to create a more dramatic look.

So after wearing these lashes for the day I have come to the conclusion that for the cheap price of £3.49, they are amazing. Being a newbie to the lash game I know that there is lots of other lashes out there for me to try. However I know that I need to get some more of these as I love how they finish off the look!

Have you tried any of the Invogue lashes? What are your opinions on them?
Have a lovely day!
Lots of love,
