It must be absolutely years since I last sat and applied false nails. I've been going to my local salon for over a year now, but with university starting again I hate having them wasted by getting ruined in the print room. When I was contacted to try out these nails I jumped at the chance!
I was sent two kinds of false nail sets. Kiss french manicure set with glue and Broadway Nails impress set with accent nails. I have always been a little bit sceptical about 'press on' nails as they don't sound like they are going to be as strong as glueing them. So of course these were the ones that I wanted to try out first. Before applying them to my nails I first lined them up to see which shape fitted better on each nail. I found this the most tricky part as they were all quite big on my nails so finding the perfect fit was rather difficult. Once I was happy I peeled the back of the nail off before applying them with a little bit of pressure. I then filed the ends slightly once they were all applied to make them more wearable for me. The nails lasted longer than I thought they would. I applied them on a Friday and they didn't begin to feel loose until the following Saturday. So I am very 'impress'ed (see what I did there!).
I am still yet to try the Kiss nails, however am thinking of ways I can decorate them to wear at Christmas! Have you tried any of these false nail brands? What do you think of impress nails!
Love,

These nails look lovely! I know how it goes with being busy and wish you luck with Uni! (: I'm sure you can find a way to make them Christmas themed so you can have them for the holidays as well.
