Beauty : New in | PIXI Beauty!

There's only one brand that comes to my mind when thinking of innovative, pretty and amazingly pigmented products. Infact, over the last couple of months Pixi products have become a standard in my every day makeup routine. I use Brow Tamer, Large Lash and the It's Judy Time Eyeshadow palette daily, so I was very excited to arrive home from work last week to this little box of goodies all themed around the eyes!

First up is the Black Lacquer 3 in 1 lash primer £15. I have never heard of a lash primer before so didn't really know what to expect from this sort of product. The box states it Plumps, Primes and Defines, three things that everyone looks for from a mascara. This product applies beautifully to the eye and acts as a great base coat to the large lash mascara £14, which is already a firm favourite of mine. This mascara is honestly one of the best I have tried in years. Before finding this product I was always a Benefit They're Real gal, and on some occasions I still am. This product is perfect for lengthening lashes for everyday without feeling clumpy. Another bonus about both of these products are how easy they are to remove with both the Simple make up wipes, and Micellar water.

Next up is the Lash Line Ink £12. This product is a deep black ink liner which applies smoothly to the eye, features a quick drying and waterproof formula which increases the volume of your lashes. I am yet to try this product out properly on my lids, but from the swatches can already tell that it will become a firm favourite in my collection. Then we have the Eye Define Waterline liner £12 in shade Tight-line black. This liner has a thin retractable tip that applies intensely and lasts all day. This product can be used on both the inner and upper lash line to add lots of eye detail. Next is the Extra Eye Bright Liner £12 in the shade Extra Bright. This product is probably one of my favourites out of everything I received. You can apply this in the inner corners of the eye, as well on the waterline to make the whites of the eyes appear brighter. The great thing about this product is how awake it makes you look, which honestly is what I need on a Monday morning!

The final four products are the gorgeous Endless Silky Eye Pens £6-£12. I mean, just look at how cute they are! These eyeliners are award winning, and glide on like seamless silk to the eyes. I love how smooth they are when applying and how daring the colours are! They are a must try and I can't wait to feel brave enough to rock the indigo blue this summer!

So, what's your favourite Pixi Beauty product? I would also love to know if anybody has any blogposts featuring a blue eyeliner, I NEED some inspo!

Don't forget to check out all the wonderful PIXI products online here, and let me know what you get!

Until next time,

* The products mentioned in this post were sent to me to try. As always the photo's, wording and opinions are my own and are 100% honest.

Fashion || Next Sale Mega Haul!

One of the beautiful things about living in the 21st century is online shopping. If like me you're addicted to browsing the internet for any bargains you can find, then this blogpost may just excite you!

As far as shopping goes, sales shopping is probably the best thing to have ever been invented (unless you're working the sales that is- and trust me after working the Next boxing day sale I know how horrible it can be!). Online sales shopping is probably better than shopping in person if you're on the right website. Next.co.uk has been one of my favourites for a while now. Not only do they offer amazing fashion and on trend styles, but their kids range is also great and I'm lucky enough to fit into many of the clothes from there too! Next also offers next day delivery on certain products that will be sent to any store free of charge if you order before midnight, it can't get better than that! (Although this is not the case for when you're purchasing in the sale. As this haul took two weeks to arrive and I am still waiting on a few bits!)

My parents have had a directory card for years, so when they mentioned the other night that they were able to book a VIP sale time slot before it actually hit the online website, I jumped at the chance. For those who may not know, I have recently been offered a full time job. So what better time to have a look at updating my wardrobe with some new bits.

Here's my little tip and trick for shopping the Next sale. Have an idea for what you're looking for. I actually went through the website a couple of days before the sale and made a note of the 6 digit product codes for things I like the look of. Obviously at that stage I didn't know what was going to be in the sale, but at least I had some sort of idea. This really helps the speed of sale day, especially a Next sale as people go crazy for it, as you can simply write in the code and do a 'quick shop'.

Now onto the haul...

Before I begin I want to give a quick disclaimer! I am not actually going to be keeping everything that I show, but thanks to Next's amazing returns policy it's easier to try everything on at home to get a better idea!

As you can tell, I did go a little bit overboard with my sale shopping! I had wanted to get this blogpost up earlier, however it's taken over a month for everything to get here and i'm actually still waiting on a couple of bits to arrive.

I hope you enjoyed this post, I love reading sale hauls!

Until next time,

Beauty || The Perfect At Home Pamper Night

There aren't many things that I do consistently every week thanks to life getting in the way, however my Sunday pamper nights are one thing I always make time for. There's nothing better than preparing yourself mentally for the week by having a long soak in a bubble bath, or cozying up in bed with a nice book. As much as I love social media it's nice to take an hour or two out of my Sunday to have some pamper time. I thought it would be nice to make a note of a couple of the things I do to create my perfect at home pamper night. Enjoy!

The first step in creating my perfect pamper night is to run a warm bath with one of my favourite Lush bath bomb. The bath bomb of choice changes up depending on my mood, but recently I have been loving Butterbear, Thundersnow and Ickle Baby Bot! There's something so relaxing about having a bubble bath, and I like to use this time to catch up on Youtube videos from the week on my iPad at a safe distance from the bath. The next step is obviously to put on a pair of comfy pjs. The pyjamas pictured are sadly now out of stock, but they were from Next at Christmas. (They do have similar styles here) I love this cute little cat print set as they are a great loungewear set that washes up well whilst still being soft and cosy! I actually purchased the eye mask and pjs separately, but they look so cute when worn together!

The next step after the bath is to moisturise the skin. I love to use the Clinque Moisturising lotion on my face as it works really nice with my skin type. For the rest of my body I like to use the Sleepy lotion from Lush. I have already featured this product in its own post, but in short this lotion is the best thing to relax and soothe!

Next up is a face mask. Out of the hundreds that are on offer, I settled recently on this 'Kitten' mask from Primark. Not going to lie, I don't think this particular mask made much of a difference to my skin. However theres something therapeutic about sitting down with a face mask on and glasses off that's relaxing. Plus, this mask made for a few giggles!

I don't read as much now as I once did thanks to life always seeming to put something in the way. I am getting better at putting social media to the side though and I have been enjoying reading 'Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine' by Gail Honeyman. I am over halfway through this book and although I am still waiting for a twist to become revealed, I am loving the laughs and giggles thanks to the complicated life Eleanor leads. Honestly, this book is a must read and I am looking forward to finishing it!

There's just a couple of things I do to relax, let me know what you do and what I can add to my little copper basket of pamper night dreams!

Until next time,

Lifestyle || March Favourites

How are we already at the end of March/the beginning of April?! It's honestly so crazy to think that we're already onto the fourth month of 2018, but here we are!

This month I have discovered and loved quite a variety of products that I wanted to include in this post.

First of all, this month I have fallen back in love with scrapbooking. I have always tried to scrapbook, but found it difficult to keep it up alongside a sketchbook for my university course. Now I have a lot more time on my hands, and now that the evenings are back to being mine, I have started to enjoy putting together my scrapbook. If you've seen my blogpost with my review on the cutest little Sprocket machine, then you may have already known that my goal for March was to do something with the prints. I purchased this cute little sketchbook from the Paperchase sale and have started to fill it with all of my images. Fingers crossed I can keep this up for the rest of the year!

Another favourite has to be these cute little shoppers from Primark. One of my favourite things to do if I have any free time is to go shopping. I have just finished 6 months working in retail, so I have been in a shopping centre 5 days a week which has been pretty tempting when walking to and from the car. As much as I love shopping, I would always forget to bring a little carrier bag with me. When I spotted these in the 'aisle of doom' aka the checkout in Primark I knew they would be perfect to have in each of my handbags. I love how small they fold up, and I couldn't resist the Disney Marie design!

Can I include a holiday as a March favourite? Because it's definitely one of the things I have been the most excited about throughout the month of March! A couple of weeks ago my brother, his girlfriend Emma and I booked a trip to Disneyland Paris and although we have a couple of months still to wait I have been making little notes to prepare already. This is the first time we will be visiting without our parents, so although it's going to be a little bittersweet, we're both excited to spend the time together. We've already started planning what restaurants we want to eat in, but if anybody has any trip guides I would love to read them!

So I bet you didn't think you would be seeing a Christmas product in a March favourite right? But here we are! This month I have rediscovered my love for the Lush Snow Fairy shower gel. I have been a huge fan of this shower gel for the last couple of years. Every boxing day I make sure to stock up on the gel to make sure I have enough to last me throughout the year. At Christmas my dad managed to get his hands on the biggest Snow Fairy you could get, as well as two smaller ones so I have been enjoying rediscovering it this month. As much as I love to use it in the shower, I also love adding it to my baths as a quick little bubble bath. It works perfectly and adds bit of shimmer to your skin too! Plus, we all know how nice the candy floss scent it!

So there's just a few of the many things I have been using and loving this month. Let me know what you've been loving and if you have been enjoying anything similar!

Until next time,
