Beauty : Glossybox February 2017

There is nothing more exciting than receiving post in the mail, especially when they come in the form of a cute little box filled with surprise makeup goodies. I am of course talking about my Glossybox subscription, which much like its special February theme, I am loving!

With it being February, the month of love, Glossybox had completely switched up their box design to feature a black and white striped lid with 'LOVE' printed on top. Personally I really like the look of this months box, although I am big fan of the classic look too! This months box also included 4 out of 5 full sized products, which always makes it seem worthwhile!

So let's take a look inside this months box...

Jeanne Arthes L'eau de Rose £20
This month we received a full size L'eau de Rose perfume, which smells absolute gorgeous. Like the name suggests, this perfume has a rose scent with 'dreamy, elegant and crisp notes'. To me, this perfume is very similar to a body spray that my mum owns so this reminds me of her which I find really comforting! I love that this has been included in this box as a full size product, as I know that I am going to love it even more throughout the next couple of months.

Ciate London Paint Pot in Iced Frappe £9
I always love to receive nail polishes in these beauty boxes as in my opinion you can never have enough! This colour is a particular favourite of mine and it also applies smoothly to the nail. I have worn this a couple of times since receiving it and love to pair it with an accent glitter nail to jazz it up a little. The product size in the box was also full sized, so that's always a bonus too as it would certainly be a colour I would buy for myself!

MeMeMe Beat the Blues in Oyster Gold £7.25
'Boost the radiance of a winter-weary complexion with this iridescent skin illuminator'...erm ok sounds good to me! This product works in a couple of different ways. You can apply it with your foundation to create an all over radiance to the skin, or you can apply in the highlight areas of the face. I am yet to try this product, but when I do I will make sure to let you know my views!

La Theorie Des Volcans Noir Eternae Youth Potion Face Scrub £26
One thing that I love to use on a pamper night is a face mask, so I am really excited to try this one out. You apply the pink paste to the skin and wait for it to turn grey as it gets to work removing impurities and dead skin. This product also claims to plump and smooth the skin, which is something that I would be interested in seeing happen.

Garnier Ultimate Blends Honey Treasures Strength Restorer Balm £4.49
This product couldn't have come at a better time for me. I have been having so many issues with my hair recently that I have been hoping for a 'miracle' product to come into my life to fix everything. You apply this hair mask to freshly washed hair making sure its spread generously to the ends. After leaving it for 1-5 minutes depending on your needs, you rinse out as normal. I am hoping to give this product a try sooner rather than later, so stay tuned to twitter for my views!

So that was everything in this months box. I know I say this every month, but everything this is probably my favourite month so far! I would be interested to know if anybody else got the same bits this month, or if you got anything different!

Until next time,

Please follow me on Twitter and Instagram. I am working really hard on improving my social media sites and am putting a lot of effort into them. I follow back to return the love!

  1. I have been so tempted to sign up to Glossy box but I just haven't got round to it yet. A full size perfume, wow! I like the look of the Me Me Me product, do let us know how you get on with that.

    Thanks for sharing.

  2. I've been curious about these monthly subscription boxes for a while and they do look amazing (though apparently sometimes they can be a little disappointing). These products look lovely - I can't wait to see how you feel about them!
