Beauty : Glossybox January 2017

It feels like ages since my last 'Glossybox unboxing' post. In fact I actually missed writing about December's box as I had planned all of my Blogmas posts before it had arrived! But here we are back with my first 2017 Glossybox unboxing, and boy is it a good one!

This months box was in collaboration with the ultimate foodie and Instagram sensation Deliciously Ella. 'The edible edit' included a super food variation of beauty products with the aim of transforming your makeup routine. A lot of the products included in this month's box are from brands that I have heard of before, but have never had the opportunity to try myself, so I was excited to finally get the chance to! January's box also came with 4 out of 5 full sized products which is always a bonus too!

Anyway now onto the box...

The Balm Meet Matte Trimony Single Eyeshadow £34 for palette
The Balm has been a makeup brand that I have been seeing all around the blogosphere for the past couple of years but have never tried myself. This single eyeshadow from the Matte Trimony eyeshadow palette is in the shade 'Matt Moskowitz'. It's a gorgeous deep purple colour with such a buttery matte finish. If I am being honest, this shade is probably not one I would have chosen for myself, but I am excited to give it a try!

Spa to you Konjac Sponge £7.99
This sponge is the first thing I saw when opening the box, and I will admit I was a little bit confused! It seemed like a really odd thing to include (odder than the 5 razors I got one month!) but I love that it was included! You use the sponge by soaking it in water and then massaging it on your face in a circular motion cleansing and exfoliating your skin. You are also able to use the sponge with a foam cleanser as well.

Vitamasque Manuka Honey Face Mask £3.99
The whole 'Manuka Honey' craze has really blown over the past couple of months. Everywhere you look it seems to pop up so I am really intrigued to see if it makes a difference to my skin. I am yet to try this mask, but I will make sure I share my thoughts when I do!

Unani Illuminate Milk Cleanser £14
Before I start, this cleanser smells absolutely amazing! This product is a everyday face cleanser which removes all impurities including makeup, leaving the skin feeling soft and recharged. My whole cleansing routine is seriously lacking recently, so I am looking forward to giving this a try.

Nip and Fab Kale Fix Moisturiser £19.95
The Nip and Fab Kale Fix Moisturiser was the only product that I knew I would be receiving in this months box and it hasn't disappointed. Nip and Fab is another popular brand thanks to Kylie Jenner being seen promoting the products. This moisturiser softens and smooths the skin whilst feeling really cooling. I have been wearing this product underneath my everyday makeup and feel that it makes a big difference when I have. This is a must try product if you can!

What do you think of this months Glossybox? Did anything catch your eye?

Until next time,
Lots of love,

  1. I got the Spa To You facial cleansing brush, which I'm glad I got now instead of the sponge, and Matte Trimony eyeshadow, although I think I prefer yours! Mines a more rustic berry red shade which doesn't suit me at all.. although I like the formulation. Love your post :) Jealous of your photos too :S x

    1. Thanks for commenting lovely!

I've been looking at what other people got and so wished I had got the cleansing brush as well! I really don't know how to use the sponge properly. I love the eyeshadow shade I got, not sure I would be able to use the red shade without looking like I had a bad eye!

Thanks again for the lovely comment xxx

    1. I would recommend this box 100%! As much as I loved Birchbox, I began to get annoyed with receiving the same products all the time. Whereas with Glossy, everything seems to be different and theres always atleast 3 of the products that you like and are actually branded!

      Thanks for commenting xx

Yeah I really want to try that palette out too! Although I am a little disappointed with the eyeshadow from this box now! I tried it out a couple of times and it just rubbed off so easily when being worn.

The moisturiser is probably my favourite thing out of the whole box to be honest. I've been using it underneath my makeup and find its actually working like my primer so that's a bonus! xx
